After you view, reflect by answering the following about the six steps:

Honest Self-Assessment:

One of the steps emphasizes radical honesty. What is something you’ve recently acknowledged about yourself or your addiction that you may have avoided in the past? How did that awareness impact you?

Taking Responsibility:
The speakers discuss taking full responsibility for one’s actions. In what ways are you currently taking ownership of your recovery, and where do you still find yourself blaming circumstances or others?

Letting Go of Control / Humility:
A step focuses on humility and accepting help. What does “letting go of control” look like for you in recovery, and how comfortable are you asking for support when you need it?

Accountability & Consistent Action:
The video highlights the importance of accountability and doing the work daily. What recovery behaviors or routines are helping you stay accountable right now, and what tends to interfere with consistency?

Purpose & Forward Momentum:
One of the later steps involves creating meaning and contributing beyond yourself. How does having a sense of purpose—or helping others—strengthen your motivation to stay in recovery?
